As used herein, Primary Source
is one that possesses direct knowledge of the validity or authenticity of an
Applicant’s credentials.
Too often, it is
difficult to obtain certified education, training and licensure documents for
international verification. The reasons for this are many.
Requesting organizations may not have accurate school names, licensing agency
names, contact names and complete email and/or postal mailing addresses.
With regard to
verification from the United Kingdom and other non US trained physicians, we perform Primary
Source Verification just as we would in the United States. As stated in
our credentialing criteria, the Applicant’s credentials must be carefully
investigated. In addition, it is imperative that the Applicants provide
COMPLETE names and mailing addresses of ALL Training schools attended,
certifying boards and licensing boards. Further, we require that ALL
information is typed legibly and accurately. Complete names and mailing
