INTERNATIONAL HEALTHCARE CREDENTIALS VERIFICATION

Custom Credentialing Services (CCS) contracts with International Healthcare Organizations to verify professional credentials through Primary Sources.  The applicants cover the gamut of the healthcare field and include the following:

PRIMARY SOURCE VERIFICATION (PSV)

Too often, it is difficult to obtain certified education, training and licensure documents for International verification.  The reasons for this are many.  Requesting organizations may not have accurate school names, licensing agency names, contact names and complete email and postal mailing addresses. 

With regard to verification of UK and other non US trained physicians, we perform Primary Source Verification (PSV) just as we would in the United States.  As stated in our credentialing criteria, the applicant’s credentials must be carefully investigated.  In addition, it is imperative that the applicants include complete names and mailing addresses of all Training schools attended, certifying boards and licensing boards.  Further, we require that ALL information is neatly hand written or typed.  Complete names and mailing addresses for the following is required so that the credentialing process will be successful:

1. Undergraduate School

2. Medical School

3. Internship

4. Residency

5. Fellowship

6. Teaching Appointments

7. Board Certification (s)

8. Licensing Boards

Next, we require that All applicants provide a current photograph preferably his/her passport.  When CCS submits requests for verification, we include a copy of the photograph along with a copy of the authorization to release information to us.  As a Client of Custom Credentialing Services, Business References will be provided.

Finally, when Primary Sources do not respond or the applicant does not cooperate making the process difficult, we will notify the Client directly.  When applications are complete with all supporting documentation needed, the credentialing process is performed in a timely manner.  We maintain the highest level of confidentiality with all data obtained through the Credentialing process. 

Please note:  Custom Credentialing Services strives to obtain certified documents and true photos of each applicant.  Due to circumstances beyond our control, this is not always possible.
